I certainly did not consider it a win when I was lugging those big deciduous in and out of the garage

Interesting. My BRTs are just about the only trees I still have inside. They are finicky enough under somewhat normal growing conditions. They are not going out for a couple more weeks. Nearly all my other tropicals have been out for two weeks now.

Yea mine don't go out until temperatures at night are 50 F or above reliably. Thats what someone who grows them told me. We arent there yet

I’ve been back in for a few days, and looks like they’ll be going back out after weds. night again. At least I have less than I used to have so it’s not awful. Good luck everyone!

That would be never here 40C/113F with night time temps below 10C/50F are fairly common in the summer here. It’s nice that it cools off so much at night.

Then tropical trees might not be a good choice for your area
