This one has actually never flowered. I prune it too often in the summer

I hear ya.
I have seen some smaller crepe myrtle flower, but It must be a few years after establishing the main shape and then alternating branches pruned for maintenance and flowering. Also. I don't know how many years it takes to flower.

Beautiful, nuff said. Do you think you can post another picture after the leaves drop? I would love to see the structure on it! I think my little "crap" myrtle got too much sun and all the leaves fell off. No fall show for me unfortunately.
