Do you play, BNut?

My best friend, whom I play music with, uses Ukelele as his "go-to" (or cigarbox). he also JUST got a baritone Uke.. that thing sounds SO full!

I used to play classical guitar but haven't had the time to play much recently. I also have a ukulele. :) As a kid I played piano but I like handheld string instruments much better. Sad nowadays you go on Craigslist and see people GIVING away their pianos because no one wants them anymore :( Too much space, hard to move, and keyboards have improved so much...

Agreed.. the Classical Piano restoration business is HIGH-END these days.. and whenever I see one.. it's almost ALWAYS out of tune.. they say, "Can you tune it?".. I say, "Without a fork I can tune it to ITSELF... so will be EQUALLY out of tune!" 😂😂😂

I started with Classical Guitar at like 9.. but WISH I had started with Piano... get both Clefts "out of the way"

I didn't realize that you actually KNOW music.. like theory and all that tasty stuff!!

You have to pick your hobbies :) I used to play guitar on the train every day when I commuted to work. I had a Yamaha silent guitar that I would play with headphones. My guitar instructor loved me because I was his only student who got in two hours per day of practice :) However now it is harder to find the time. Next two years is going to be eaten up with house stuff... after which perhaps I'll sit on my back deck and play guitar while I watch my trees grow :)

This is becoming tough..

Now that I'm 'living healthy'... I realize that my previous 'non-healthy' lifestyle was largely a vein for 'self-medication' due to my (very affecting, occasionally crippling) OCD/ADHD that I was diagnosed with quite young.
And now.. my healthy, hyperactive brain LOVES hobbies...but I think I'm "good" now. 🤪

I talk to people... "Hey do you want a free metal forge?"

Or, "D'ya wanna come blow glass with me?"

Or "let's build 2 quads out of these 30 broken ones and etch a new trail on the back 10."

...it's like.. ALL that stuff sounds GREAT...

But my plate... it's so full... so..

Heavy. ;)

Is a Balkan Artist...

Born and raised in South Africa..

Now living back in the Greece area..

So he ends up speaking South African/Mediterranean/Carribean English.

During the verses, theres combinations of several of the speech patterns we were talking about.

Here's a Corny Jig as not to derail.

I had almost -almost! kicked the habit, but I indulged in a couple of Guinness tonight, and I can hear that between my ears:

Obviously Roger Waters was more of a MUSICIAN.. as WELL as a hell of a writer and frontman..
