My Dad turns 80 this month. I try like Hell to make the free time I make for him count. My Mom was only 56 when she died. My Dad turns 80 and I turn 60 this year. I hope I can see my kid turn 60. If I make 80 I guess I can!

Al, as you know, I've had two surgeries in the past year for cancer. I've been lucky so far. But, it's also reminded me that our time is limited.

It was great to meet your lovely wife at BIB. I hope she continues to have a full recovery from cancer.

Yes. Jimmy was the last surviving founder of the Orange County Bonsai Society, one of the clubs I'm in.

I did a little reading about him after I saw your post last night. Inspirational...he will obviously be missed.

Keep yourself interested and engaged and life finds a way; if you give it a path to follow. Hurray for bonsai!
