Looks good. May I suggest a brighter light next time so we can see it fully? The black background is nice for pics but it always hide critical details (whether good or bad) on the tree. I would honestly prefer a white background as to not hide anything. Same reason why in kokufu exhibitions, the background is usually white or off white. You wanna show off the whole tree and not just the good side by covering the rest in shadows. Regardless, your work looks very good. I would love to see more in the future.

Hey, thanks for the message. Yeah, totally agree the photo is too dark. There’s definitely more light in the video if you want to get a better look at the lines.

I’m gonna swap out the BG in the next video. I painted more of a mottled clay one so we will see how that looks.
