Bonsai fertilizer

I am interested in adding cilica to my fertilizer regimen this year. All my trees are in Development, in growing containers, and will receive granular slow release 10-10-10.

In your experience or expertise, will this be beneficial and safe to give? I have considered adding a liquid fast release but I suspect there could be risk of overfertilizing (using all 3) and causing detriment to health.

If it's the stuff by RAW Industries or otherwise labelled as silicon dioxide, it is not water soluble. Plants won't be able to take it up, plus there's a massive amount of it already available in soil and clay particles

Potassium silicate is supposed to be different. It's the main ingredient in Dyna Gro Pro-Tekt, but I don't know how effective it is. I bought a bottle but haven't used it yet
