This 6-foot coral bark segment airlayered off a mother tree is holding steady one week in. I'm misting it like crazy all day, which is perhaps the only silver lining of the COVID lockdown. 😁 But a big heatwave is coming over the next 7 days....

My motivation in airlayering the mother tree in half was to double my propagation output. Now I can do 6-8 trees per year instead of 3-4. Why does one need so many trees? I haven't figured that out yet myself. :p
