I was going to give @DirkvanDreven a reply like this but Al has already posted for me

English is not my native language, so I probably have a hard time making the distinction between funny and nonsense

The only reason I post in these things is for the yucks. There is no way to take any of this dimwitted (possibly addled) stuff seriously.Well, you’re in luck! This whole thread is both funny, and nonsense!

Yeah, don't mistake quantity of posts for quality. Idiotic posts here tend to get the most traffic. I guess you can take some pride in that. Think of it as the "people's choice" award for the forum...8 Pages and 146 Post's and except for my Post's they are mostly Dimwitted as you say...

It's YOUR reality...My OP is Reality... however folks here cannot accept it....
After my mother had a mini-stroke, her reality changed. Some of her brain cell died. The ones remaining tried to repair the network, and made new connections of neurons. So half of memory A became linked with half of Memory Z. Which she “remembered” as Event AZ. Which never occurred.

The more I see of this, the more I think you are right. The same opinion posted in a growing number of individual threads..The certainty that this largely unintelligible opinion is "correct" and everyone else can't see it...My mother in law also had dementia. Similar recurring ideas and "opinions" that were as unshakeable as they were fantastical. I will try to temper my temper with Bolero this stuff in mind. After my mother had a mini-stroke, her reality changed. Some of her brain cell died. The ones remaining tried to repair the network, and made new connections of neurons. So half of memory A became linked with half of Memory Z. Which she “remembered” as Event AZ. Which never occurred.
But for her, it was real. It was a memory stored in her brain. And there was no way to convince her that it wasn’t “real”. It was as real to her as any memory you or I might have. And it didn’t matter how many of us would try to convince her otherwise. The more we would try to convince her, the firmer she insisted that we were all trying to trick her!
We are seeing the early stages of dementia in Bolero. He needs to get medical attention.
I know him only from this site before the first time he abandoned the site because he found out I believed in God.Vance, you know this guy. Does he have family? You should contact someone in his family to get Bolero some help. He doesn’t need to be driving. And people in this state of mind will insist they’re not impaired when they actually are, and will not seek assistance.
As much as we’ve all poked fun at this thread, I’m actually worried about this guy’s health.
Then why in the Hell did you start a new one?I think its time to shut this Thread down, it has become a place to just vent with silliness...
Guys the sky is really pink and you're wrong if you don't see what I see! We should call pink blue and blue pink cuz the sky is pink! Look at me look at me!My OP is Reality... however folks here cannot accept it....
stop being tacky. besides, why do you care so much?98% of the posters here do Sticks in a Pot, 2% do some really decent Bonsai Look Alikes & you all know who fits where...Just have to deal with it.
The "reality" as you call it it is to turn that sentence around, that's reality.....8 Pages and 146 Post's and except for my Post's they are mostly Dimwitted as you say...
