Looks kinda like my aquarium.
Also check out the fluity fluits on this backbreaker. Plenty of limbs up and down the trunk to style into a flat top eventualy.View attachment 557763View attachment 557764
you are post bonsai - your tree is no longer a model of a tree but a volcano. After hollowing out the center apply vinegar and baking soda solution.

Today was our neighborhood secret garden tour. This was supposed to be my year to be in it but my surgery delayed a lot of projects so I had to drop out. I volunteered to sell tickets. My friends saw me sitting at the park selling tickets and brought me a Liquid Death since it was 85° with 70% humidity. The after party was great, got to talk to a lot of my neighbors about soil health and plants.

Woke up early this morning to pack some trees to ship. I was covered in sweat by the time I am done.
But for the love of bonsai was this done. The money does not come close to covering my cost and time.

Today I prepared this Trident Maple on the ground, removing sacrifice branch and a few other, to lift in spring so I can work on it's nebari, a few branches there will be removed, and the leader branch is too high, but since there's no branch halfway there, I'm gonna lower the cut when I have one.

The tree will be going back to do ground for a few more years...

I'm really excited with this tree development, it's been on the ground for a lil' more than 2 years, and it was just a fraction of this trunk.

Life can be harsh. But cheer ups are helpfull at moments.
Liquid Death would be a very strong ale in our stores, but this is ice tea if I am not mistaken. Perhaps better when your sweating carrots.
At least that is how the Dutch call it 🥕
