Dang that’s nice! I may or may not have collected elms that would look good in that bad boy. 😉

Only if they’re American Elms otherwise I’m an American hornbeam fan boy that will use those for it ..I always have another forest in development that will be going into a Nao container

Ours are either winged or hybrid American/winged elm. Some have wings others don’t, I’ve quit trying to figure it out. The ones I have don’t have the wings.

My first spring since starting this new obsession hobby. My apartment complex turned on the sprinklers this week and I realized this morning that my trees were getting soaked! They need to be on the edges of the patio to get enough sun. So a quick and dirty bonsai bench. 15 block 3 1"x6"x8' boards of trex. All safe now from the evil sprinkler heads 😂

Bought more plastic pots to move more bags into a pot-in-pot configuration from Greenhouse Megastore. 50 pots for $50 including FedEx shipping and taxes is not bad in my opinion, since I can't find these size pots anywhere close. These sizes will work with quart and No1 Rootpouch bags.

Found these two Sea Greens at a nursery looking quite neglected. My goal is to clean them, repot them and let them grow for several years to see what time can do for the trunks. Just going to let them go wild and suck up some new soil, sun and fertilizer 😋 Hard for me to find any older nursery stock so I have a good long time to think on styling.
