I got this tree from our very own Judy. I removed it from the rock and planted it into the ground on top of a large tile. Plan is to ground grow for several years. It will prob continue to grow until late November when it will go dormant. Maybe a couple more inches of growth this year. Photos are kind of lame since it hasn't stopped raining here for what seems weeks. Anyways, the start of a thread for this little guy. First photo is as it arrived/sale photo

I didn't imagine the foilage as such.

My first elm so I wouldn't know the difference between specific cultivars. I know the leaves are smaller than our native elm here and the bark seems to be getting pretty bumpy already
