Workshop temperatures ?

Hi.

So I'm going to improve my bonsai workshop. Tired of my small cold garden shed. I was wondering if I could use my garage? It is a heated garage, with same room temperatures as the rest of my house. Will work fine in summer. But im worried if I can use it in winter and early spring for repotting? Can I take a bonsai from garden with pot temperatures 5 degrees celsius (40 fahrenheit) and bring in my garage 20 degrees celsius (68 fahrenheit) work on it for couple of hours and bring it back again to cold garden ? Anyone with experience in that?

I don't see any problem with this. It's not like you're going to keep the tree in 68 degree Temps for days on end. Just make sure the root pruned tree doesn't freeze again.
