John, you probably know this already but the only difference between the Korean and Japanese boxwood is the flower color. Korean has a yellow flower. I have 15ish Japanese and 1 Korean. I have also noticed (on mine) that the leaf size on the Korean seems to be slightly smaller. Great finds!

Yea leaf size is a bit smaller leaf shape is a bit more ovate...

I was looking through some of the links I have collected over the years and here is one on boxwoods. It lists Korean as Buxus sinica formerly (B. microphylla var. koreana). https://content.ces.ncsu.edu/commercial-boxwood-production

Man, Those are some super nice nursery stick you got there. I would love to get my hands on just one of those...

Look for Mark Comstock on Facebook bonsai auction sites. He sells great material for good prices, boxwood included
