We have been very consistent with how we handle the masks... especially because two of us (ironically enough, the two in that picture ) are quite high risk. Yes we have three, Jasper and Riley like plants in “waves”... as kids are. But Jasper REEEALLY likes working with clay. It stays constant... unwavering.

That's great about Jasper and clay! I knew when I was 13 what I would do for a living, what my passion was and I never wavered. I majored in it in college and did my post graduate work in it as well and made it my profession for decades. The point though was I knew what I would do at 13. Kids are so much smarter than we credit them for. Keep encouraging his work with clay! You might have an artist in your house.

Now that's funny, because I thought you'd make killer banana bread!
When cooler weather rolls around, I'll have to try Nigella's brownies, for sure -- and also make banana bread. (The secret of which is: defend the bananas against anyone who wants to eat them...or throw them away...before the skins are black. Essence of banana, with very little mashing required. And broken-up walnuts, vs. chopped too fine. Mmmmm....)

Ah no. I can bake. I used to make bread all the time. And pies. But my mum and my sister are the cakers in my family and marvellous they are too. Thanks for the tip though, maybe I’ll save some up specially for when I next visit my mums house!
