Can someone enlighten me on where most American bonsai potters sell their pots. I am talking about the nicer pots that are handmade. I can not seem to find any in stock any place. Thanks!

New England Bonsai Gardens has some pots from American makers.
Just two off the top of my head are.

Forest Inn Pottery
Iker bonsai pots

Most potters have their own websites but some do sell through retailers.

I know it's an epic hunt but you just have to keep looking and bookmark their sites

This is a great resource for American bonsai potters. Some have their website linked, others you may want to do a quick Google search and can find their wares either on their website or other places.

There is also a multitude of American potters here on this very forum as well.
@sorce @vancehanna @BrightsideB @penumbra @mwar15 @HorseloverFat are a few who come to mind.

Between those two links I think a lot of the commercial American potter space for bonsai is covered.

Thank you guys for the response. Time to start digging!

Three that I shop regularly are, 99cent bonsai, bonsai auction and bonsai pot auction. All on FB.
I second that. I am new to FB but there is a lot of good stuff there when one rightly divides it from the trash.

Yeah over the last year I've amassed a handful of etsy/websites that I'll check from time to time. Here are a few that I check regularly and they are all top notch potters.

@BrightsideB https://www.etsy.com/shop/BrightsideBonsai

@NaoTK https://www.tokutakebonsai.com/shop (hopefully someday I'll have a worthy tree)

Denise Soultani https://www.etsy.com/shop/DMSPottery (She seems to add in batches)

Roy Minarai https://royminarai.com/available/ (these are definitely on the wishlist someday)

I'll second this recommendation above:

Finally, Instagram has some good stuff, here is a guy I've purchased from in the past:

You've got links to some pretty good sites. Here's another I don't think has been mentioned. Matt Ouwinga imports Japanese pots. LOTS of them. All very high quality. He sources them from bonsai nurseries and other sellers in Japan. He has extremely high end pots, as well as reasonably priced (some in lower price ranges than some Western potters), as well. It's worth looking through his ebay catalog just to see what he gets. He also sells on Facebook, as well and posts pics of his new shipments there.

I have purchased more than a dozen pots from him over the years. He's become the first "go-to" source when I'm looking for a pot for a tree.

FWIW, I am really taken with pots by Bob Hunter. You can call him Bob, you can call him Rob, but don't call him Robert. I picked up a few pots from him here and several on FB.
