Lime sulfur does preserve the wood right?

I’ve got some wood hardener bc I never seem to be able to find lime sulfur, or if I do it’s something else that’s not for wood. Seems like a product you don’t see everywhere. Trying to whiten/preserve some Shari/Jins.

It's becoming harder to find. It seems that is increasingly being banned for retail sale. I'm not sure why except for its corrosive properties

I bought the "pet dip" kind - pretty much exactly the same.

I got mine on Amazon in the past, but it looks like they only have it in gallons now...

I've often wondered how the two products compare. I've seen the lime sulfur sold as flea dip. Odd that it's become so hard to find for bonsai
