When to collect Trident maple seeds

Wouldn't it be early for the seeds to hatch? It is raining wet snow here right now...

I'm waiting to plant seeds too. I had 3 days in the freezing zone this year. Normaly we have 30 or more days under 30. Not this year. Some of my trees never dropped there leaves. Idk what to expect with my seeds.
