Yeah. THis is one of those houses where they have managed to get rocks to propagate. A stone garden with 6 trees in a row. Yuk.Did you check the REST of the "renovation?" That's where some treasure could show up.

"Bonsai" and "sensibility" rarely go hand-in-hand.The sensible thing would be to forget about them. On the other hand... will you suddenly regret the lack of giant ginkgo on your bench in a year?
Wise to cut boring trunk down. Hope branches grow for you.
What is the plan? I guess you will hollow the trunk and work it with dremel or something because it will never heal that cut not even in 300 hundred years xD
