Fuken help.
This tree is recovering from a root trimming. I did not realize Fuken Tea dislike root pruning. But it is doing much better now that I have it in Sphagnum Moss.

Since it's leaves are just coming back in I thought it would be a good time to get pictures of its trunk. Any suggestions of what to do with the trunk? Once it recovers obviously.

Lmao!! Yeah thanks for the heads up. Some one was talking to me when I was posting this and forgot them... Please stand by :)

UGH!!! I have no idea way they loaded like that. Now do I know how to fix it. Sorry.

This tree would be fantastic if you air layer it below the reverse taper knob below the first branch! It would have really good taper and movement, and it's gnarly too ;)
That's what I would do once it recovers.... if it were my tree...

I agree, that would be the best option. With this tree I don't think it would be too hard.

Judy that's what I was thinking. I don't know how well Fuken layer but will do the research.
Already being a short tree if f I layered around that area it would be about (guessing) 6" tall. I like it :)
Thanks for your opinion!

Let us see it once you separate it, I think you'll have something cool. I would also shorten the top branches a little bit, but don't think I'd do it till it recovers from the airlayer.

You might want to search for FukIen, not Fuken ;)
