Picked this up at a nursery yesterday. I liked all the dead wood up top. Looks a little scraggley, hope to liven it up a bit and turn it into something nice one day.

Does anyone know what kind of juniper it is?tmp_21022-2015-07-05 17.49.19-494508841.jpg tmp_21022-2015-07-05 17.50.03-535483712.jpg

Parsoni would be my guess. If it is so, it's a cultivar of juniperus chinensis. Very tough. Great score!

Thanks vaibatron. That would be great if it was Parsoni. I have another Parsoni too, so now I can compare them better and see. This one has a very slight blueish green tint to the foliage.

In my experience, my healthiest Parsoni tend to have that blue ish tint to them. So maybe that's a good thing?

Or I could be wrong on the ID altogether!!
