Chose a lower quality JBP tp practice grafting on! Better possibilities for design with more branches! One of the few times you get a branch where you would like it.

 

[Teacup bonsai]

Styled this tree at a club workshop. Really fun environment, with about 40 people working on trees. I got lucky and had the great Dave de Groot assigned to my table!

Detail wiring to come. Still unsure about that lower branch, but I think I’ll leave it on for the year to see how it grows in.
