What’s your latest Bonsai related purchase?

My next project if I am healthy enough in the spring is to begin air layering this recently purchased group of donor maples for a future bonsai collection I wish to give to my nephew. I am expecting challenges as a few of these might be too far hybridized but I am looking forward to it.2FFD5667-02E3-46C3-B994-AFE55F6991B4.jpegB4248A00-7190-46CF-8EE5-1851433B37C6.jpegB21969CF-2781-4129-923A-CF297B54A0DC.jpeg1FEF5143-22FC-46A0-A9AF-F5F0106CB403.jpeg

A tropical mimosa from Wigert on Ebay exactly 2 mins ago lol.
You can order pretty much everything they put on ebay directly on Wigert's website cheaper and you don't have to deal with the bidding. Not to say I haven't ever bought anything from them on ebay, because I have.

Thanks Carol but I think that's only apply to the general stock trees, not "one of a kind" tree where you get the exact one in the picture.

Not meaning to argue, but check out their website. They have a "one of a kind pre-bonsai" section and a "one of a kind bonsai" section that you do get that exact tree.

Thanks Carol! I have order their one of a kind trees on their website before, I believe once they list a tree on Ebay they remove it from their website to prevent multiple buyers for 1 tree. Have a great night.

I gambled that a two hour drive (and an excuse to eat Dreamland ribs) would pay off at the Atlanta bonsai Yard Sale. After looking things over early, I put down a small Tosui I intended to buy, but someone picked it up and bought it. I ended up getting these two: a Reiho cream oval, similar to a larger one I bought a few weeks ago from the same potter, and a blue oval out of Tokoname ...that I haven’t positively identified past that.

Nice haul!!! I was so looking forward to my club auction but because of Covid they offered straight sale via internet instead and there wasn't much stuff available, I guess people dint wanna mess with taking pics and such.

My latest Bonsai related purchase was of a great feeling.

If you didn't know you could purchase feelings, send our friend Owen what you can, and realize happiness can be purchased!
