What’s your latest Bonsai related purchase?

Picked up a pot from a friend in the UK... Rowena Edwards Ceramics. It was named Neige. As she names her work.

A black clay vessel with a glazed rough edge rim and set back feet. Drainage and wire holes, ensure this piece is functional for bonsai or outdoor planting.

Internal - 10 x 10 x 4cm (4 x 4 x 1 ½ inch).

Reminds me of a Bob Ross painting. I look forward to seeing what happy little tree you put in it.

My most recent purchase was a 'Nishiki Gawa' cutting from Piedmont Bonsai. It's healthy and growing.

Acer palmatum a 25+ year old cutting grown 'Yuri Hime ' Japanese maple. No graft. :)

I see air layers in your future.

Found a blue heron in the park and finally identified my favorite tree in there (thanks to some new signage)

Nice I was eyeing that one myself but didn’t do anything with it. Nice one!
Thanks! I got a little crazy and wanted 4 steps above my current Maples. I want trees to enjoy while an old dog can. :)

I helped myself to a third-gen Yamaaki as a treat for getting into grad school. I'll have much less time dedicated to keeping trees alive and much more time staring at the few pots I'll bring with me to university housing when I get tired of studying. Most Toshio pots out there are production-grade, but I appreciate the level of attention that went into creating this one. fine detail work, a subtle deep blue that wears its patina elegantly, and an uncommon shape for glazed containers this size (9x7). this will pair very nicely with an ume with deadwood. could go with another fruiting/flowering species or a fall-flamboyant deciduous with larger leaves

Picked up a Seiju elm clump the other day ... early next week our night Temps are low 20's here. I made contact and asked if she could hold off until the following week. (Ships on Mondays) Which she had no issues with.

A screenshot of what I hope is my front or around there from her video shared.

The elm post here not long ago ... had me pondering Seiju. As many seemed to appreciate them. My being a bark fein... they getting barked up trunk. I decided...if one came available, I would get one.
