What’s your latest Bonsai related purchase?

Here you go:

Great stuff...😁😁😁

I bought some supplies to restock and prepare for this a class this weekend.

I thought this was the what did you do today thread on my last post xD

My local nursery has started stocking some calcinated clay. Twice as expensive as BonsaiJack's per gallon (not counting for shipping) but it is in the smaller size range that I was looking for. So I'll see if I like using the product.

Bought a yamadori spruce (probably picea abies) from Mauro Stemberger at the Trophy this weekend. He told me he collected it in the dolomites around 4 years ago. It has some of the tiniest needles I have seen on spruces.

All kinds of things for spraying. The 3 in 1 spray is for preventative treatment of some recently collected yamadori, and then we have some Humic Acid and Kelp to make a 5 to 2 mix for a foliar spray.

I'm in the Kelp and Hunic acid band wagon. The foliar mix seems to do wonders

Apparently, I bought some Toyo Nishiki quince when I couldn't sleep the other night.... I thought I broke the late-night plant purchase curse.

I had outpatient surgery yesterday. The Dr. told me not to make any important decisions or do any online shopping, since I would be under the effects of anesthesia for 24 hours. I know I didn't make any important decisions.... 🤔🤪

Prayers all is okay...and for a speedy recovery.

I hope you have a speedy recovery. I had a friend show me a photo of a tree for sale while I was on pain killers post surgery and I bought it. I still like the tree but I shouldn't have been making that kind of decision at the time 🤣
