A great fun species... I own 3, that one is really nice for the cultivar. The prevuous owner told me they don't like their roots messed with overly. @Vin . My large has larger leaves...just by being less constrained I believe. Same leaf structure and what not. My wee one. Has Itty bitty leaves.View attachment 584120
Finally found a Trachelospermum Asiaticum dwarf 'Chirimen' in the UK, so very pleased with that. It's gonna take some time I think, but it looks healthy so I'm looking forward to the journey.
i saw those pop up online shopping and i even would pull my shirt up for themMy gosh...I'm putting myself to bed. Dosed on meds...and strung out. I bought a novelty for retail therapy alone.

Nighty night... I half wonder...if roasting marshmallows over the cash would have been a tastier treat/reward.
Edit: Not even drain holes I'm seeing. Geesh...I'll have to use it as a prop for display for Instagram. When doing cosmic design. Maybe I'll find a big breasted woman figure to put on top......as he's added big busted women apparently. Gosh...I'm such a lightweight to meds. GOTTA FIND HUMOR.
My son collects dragons. I may allow him to have it. To display one of his dragons from the top. He may think it cool.i saw those pop up online shopping and i even would pull my shirt up for them
sorry couldn't resist myself but i must admit you can make something nice with or without drainage holes !
Just for clarity, I was referring to the larger cream coloured rectangle in the upper back left of the photograph, It appears to be antique Chinese in appearance. I would not expect to see a stamp or chop on the bottom. Unless it is a reproduction or copy of that glaze and style. Here is an example of the similar characteristics from my collection.Do you think it's Chinese rather than Japanese? Was led to believe it was Japanese but I can't tell from the stamp on the bottom.
Just curious, do they sell Bougies in the nurseries around you? Never seen one around here.Still remains to be seen if it's bonsai related...

Last summer Lowes carried them, not really sure why... 1st year I've seen them all over the place. Then there is a privately owned nursery near me that always has them in hanging baskets, but much smaller. They propagate them from cutting themselves.Just curious, do they sell Bougies in the nurseries around you? Never seen one around here.
Lucky you. Never seen them around here, ever. All of mine have come from Florida.Last summer Lowes carried them, not really sure why... 1st year I've seen them all over the place. I came across another private nursery that is somewhat bonsai inclined and they hag a few last year's bougies for 50% off. I looked at the trunks and this one looked good to me and there were two in the same pot to boot. Monrovia Burgundy Queen. Pretty sure same as in Lowes.
