Unseasonably Warm Fall

Yep, was 45 last night here. They predicted 35 but most of the time, this time of year, they are well off the actual lows for my area.

I moved all my trops into the house on Sunday though just in case and they will stay there til next year.

Me too :(. Funny, there didn't seem to be so many, when they were outside.

I actually reduced my number of them by 2 or 3. I gave 2 or 3 little BRT away as raffle donations to one of my clubs. I also took a ficus that I got from an air layer to my office, although now I have about 5 accent plants that I made up with them too but those don't take up as much space and can sit under the canopy of my larger trees because they tolerate lowet light.

Fall collected trees that didn't make it into growing beds were sheltered last night, as we finally had a frost here! trops have been indoors for two days, but going back outside tomorrow till monday, as springsummer is back.

I've had a few frosts here. The only tree showing any sign of slowing down is an amur maple.
Mine stay out basically until their frozen then I pit them away. Like around Thanksgiving.

Getting chilly this week over here...
Trident still growing, elms still growing, taxus still growing, azaleas pushing some new shoots, ewp opened a few buds too...
Everything else is just waiting for winter.

Me too :(. Funny, there didn't seem to be so many, when they were outside.

There is way to many here this season - lost track after 60 or so various plants went into the plant room. Actually asked Crystal to refrain from new additions including the Brazilian Rain Trees I want to add. In Spring when these go out I will add a lot of shelf and light to another wall as I see no end to the madness :P
