Hey All,
After Paradox's post about posting pics, I decided to post some of my meager trees. This first tree was posted about a year ago and Smoke(Al) gave me a hard time (I mean advice) which I appreciated. I have also taken the tree to Roy Nagatoshi's class once. The first pic is after I got it and cleaned it up (believe it or not). It was a mess in a cracked put held together with wires. Then the progression. The poodled look in one of the pics is what Al told me to correct. THe last picture is an attachment and was taken today. Anyway, have at it. I am not much of a photographer. I will post more trees soon.

Tona, it's looking pretty nice, are you happy with your progress?
Too bad Al seems to be gone, I too have benefited from his words here.
Looking forward to seeing more...

Now your cookin with ray lube bro...Now I see a battered tree at tree line. Now its starting to look natural and conveys a real tree.

Everything looks great....except one last detail. Sorry, couldn't let you slide all the way. Get some heavy copper wire. Wrap the bottom bone straight branch with raffia, and wrap it well with copper wire at about the same spiral rate you have now. Bend some kinks in that puppy to match what going on above and that will be a great tree.

Be careful on juniper about washing away too much soil from the roots. If they get exposed too much all the surface roots die and you lose the nebari. Plant a little lower and keep them at least half covered, just exposing the top to show them a little.

Bitchin looking, Ghost

I really like the way this one is progressing; it's interesting. It reminds me of some of the trees I'd see up in Maine in areas where forest fires had long since went through and the survivors had the same type of deadwood trunk with foliage beginning again.

Keep the updates coming!

Ok Al,
I put some movement into the lower branch today (didn't need raffia) and will be re-potting to get it lower in the pot. I was given the same re-potting advice by Roy Nagatoshi. Thanks again for your advice.
