Kind of exciting for me! New variety to my house to join the Chojubai. Decided to pamper them as i repotted out of the reccomended cycle. I usually repot Quince in the fall. I think they will be ok, there was no obvious root activity a couple of weeks ago when the repotting was done. Moved them to deeper, larger containers disturbing less than 1/3 the roots. Original growing mix not compacted in the undisturbed center.
Simple propogation enclosure with thermostatically controlled heat mat and humidity contained. Set root temperature at 75 F. They are responding well. Two separate plants, only white showing so far on the first, varied bud colour evident in the second. Some leaves evident on both plants as well.

Looks good. Nice setup.
Thanks, simple wooden frame, poly two sides, clear vinyl top, front, back!
48 by 20 inch heat mat with thermostat. Unit is 48 by 24 deep and 24 high! Once the new arrivals are off to a good start the prime use will be for trickier cuttings that will benefit from the controlled heat and humidity.
I hope to improve the success rate on some root grafting projects as well and i think the humidity enclosure will help.
