Tourbillion

Very cool. You should post up all three.
Next year. This is the one he bought for himself. I was a very bad boy on this trip. I left my wife in the hospital while I drove to Lindsey, 3.5 hours round trip. Got back to the hospital around 7:10 Pm and stayed till 10:00 Pm so I was pressed for time. I didn't turn any of these for photo's but let's just say that this one Ed picked out for himself has some amazing views. This is not one of them! He promised me first pick, and I didn't want that respectful gesture to go away. I went anyway. It's what my wife wanted me to do. I will get back to post some quality pictures with my camera which I had but left in the truck. Thinking about other things. The pictures of the pines are terrible, sun was going down and they were in greenhouses which were dark. Iphone camera can't fix everything.

After working on Tripper yesterday, I was pretty pleased with the work so far. In fact so much so that I couldn't stand it. I decided that I would cut back the sacrifice branches and jin some of the long ends I would not use. Cleaned up the shaggy bark and brushed the trunk a little and then thought what the hell, lets chalk a shari to contemplate till it washes off.

In a recent thread I gave BVF some "advise" about taking off some pine cone thingies on his pine that was weakening it. Today I was able to cut back this juniper to a better profile for future work. "Less is more"

Inspired by a few cans of brewskis...no doubt. ;) Loving the direction...you left a whip though...that may take away energy from your tree. You did pinch them off right!?!
