Wow, Both are beautiful displays. I like the bugling elk especially, but the moon scroll/trident combo is fanstatic. Congratulations!

The rest of the field. Beautiful exhibits, Kathie Shaner commented on the up tick in the caliber of the exhibits this year. We are on the right track folks, keep up the good work.

Awesome job guys! Congratulations! And thanks for taking the time to post pictures al

congrats to all the winners..... well done Al and Brian ....

I would love to find some way to do this up here.... It is a wonderful showcase and I learn so much, I hope to attend and potentially show one day.

Al, any way you might be able to replay some of the judges comments? It would be highly educational and I for one would be very interested in learning. Also your own comments would be great to hear as I always learn a lot from your commentary.

Thanks guys! I JUST got home from the competition, and it was a blast. I wasn't really expecting to win, simply turn a few heads with the concept, but it was a very nice surprise. The only negative remarks about my particular display were of the scroll. The judges believed that the overall shiny appearance and improper mounting (wrinkles) were a distraction, and lightened up the darker theme too much. Unfortunately Kathy didn't stick around long, so I never got a chance to hear about the other displays. Thanks for posting pictures Al, and further inspiring me to enter the competition. I will definitely be back next time.

Such a nice exhibit. And what a nice display hall! The only thing missing would be viewing benches where you could sit and stare at the displays for a bit :) But maybe they want to keep people moving :)

I agree, the professionalism of the displays and the hall, is top notch.
thanks for the photos, and congrats on winning guys... good job !!!!

Congrats to the winners. It was a fun day!

Simply awesome!!! Very proud of our gents for putting together such a great display and taking home prizes. :D Thanks for the photos Al... great job as always!

There could be some Greeks on this forum but so far what you have asked for is Greek to me??

If you are referring to the "Wind, flower, bird, moon" scroll it was displayed by Bob Hilvers and the scroll belongs to the museum.

If you are speaking of this scroll..."Longevity -1000 years"

It was displayed by Joseph Gayton, whom I did not get the chance to meet. I assume it was owned by the displayer.
