Tips for improving my Ficus

Hey guys! I’m looking for tips improving this leggy ficus microcarpa. I was thinking to cut it back hard (or closer to the trunk) just like how I drawn on the pic. Do you think the tree will survive? Thanks!

What kind of soil is it in? It looks to be very organic. Is it actively growing (pushing out new growth)?

Hey @alldayidream, where are you located?
I don't have any Ficus so not familiar with this sort of tree, but I've read that they are pretty strong trees.
If it were my tree, I would prune heavily if its healthy--perhaps not all of the foliage all at once though.

Hey! I’m from Hungary.
Not all at once? Like half of the tree maybe? That makes sense?
