Thermostatically Controlled Outlet?

I'd get you a nice spot on one of my warmer heat mats. I'm sure I could do an unglazed pot if I had to just for you...LOL.

I have a signed Dave Bennet in pristine condition packed with the others. It would be perfect as it is his Ashes to Ashes pot in this thread - https://bonsainut.com/threads/ashes-to-ashes-pots-to-pots.12922/ :P If I remember right it was one of his first when he took on pottery the second time... Dave @ABCarve ? It is the one pictured in post 5 and although clay has a really nice finish from introducing ash to the firing process(something like that).

I looked back at the post....interesting photo of the pot....my Hawthorne is sitting behind it. I must have been pondering using the pot for it. Much happier with what it's in now, although I'm working on a new one. So you never put anything in that pot....too warped?

Actually yes and it died along with everything else in early 2015 when we had the drainage/bacterial problem at this newer place. Just been growing since the property has been established.

I Since have cleaned and oiled all the pottery for future use - most for next year. A set back but not something that deters me. If the "right" Trident becomes available it will be its new home. Honest it sits pretty damn level and the finish is really nice - appreciate owning it, special in several ways to me :)

Actually worse than what happened to me. At least it was easy to figure what went on up here.
I'm glad you weren't deterred.
You asked about elm root cuttings? Next year I'm going to have so many it won't be funny. I got my eyes on an American elm about 10 inches across the base. There ought to be some fatties connected to it.
I'll contact you when it's time.
