J. Maple in the sunshine.

Now that feels like spring. Fantastic colours, I can't wait for mine to leaf out. Though apparently we have more cold weather coming here tomorrow

Here's a work-in-progress potentilla.

Thuja Occidentalis sporting its somber winter coloration. Just accepted into the 6th US NATIONAL!! Will be repotted into a much better container this spring.

My qunice is getting close. Finally got tired of the suckers and pruned them away.



And just repotted this black pine. Never got around to adding some more wire and it shows it in the top. I think I need to pull needles though.

So they were telling the truth about the snow. Couple of shohin - crab apple on the left, field maple on the right.

Neither has a good winter image - looking forward to leaves and flowers next month...

A very smart Sharp's Pygmy Japanese maple still holding tight for better and warmer weather. Other maples should learn from this one!
