Hmmm…I haven’t been to Bjorn’s since last November when I worked on this Zuisho...must have a bonsai twin out there.😂

oh snap! lol I was going off the profile pic but my eyes aren't what they used to be, lol. I'm pretty embarrassed lol.

Here's a crab two years post chop. My first ever trunk chop actually, which I got my information for the execution from bnut. Still rough but im partial to the gnarly roots.

Man… I want a Zuisho soooo bad! Definitely a “holy grail” tree for me. If you enjoy the BonsaiQ YouTube, they recently did an episode on the Japan Zuisho Club. So many wonderful trees!

Here’s my pinus contorta Lodgepole pine all tied up (or down I guess) crappy picture but do what you gotta do on the fly😅

Pocomoke Crape Myrtle (in development) falling in line with the season. I plan to bring in the structure but I let it grow this season with minimal shape pruning to see how vigorously it growsa. It does, lol.

One more because the leaves are almost gone. Grape in development. Custom one of a kind stand from my function over form builds. Im thinking about adjusting the planting angle on next repot slightly back and to the right. I'm hoping the weight of the canopy will help compress it as they aren't super fun to bend in my experience, heh.

Alberta Spruce with first snow load of 2022. Looks great when the snow obscures the lack of refinement, lol.
It’s funny to see snow pictures from around the country but I’m looking at a high of 70° today😳

JBP that I just rewired in copper. Got rid of the mess of aluminum that was on.

It was in the 70s here 2 days ago. S. Indiana weather is badass, lol! Mulberry in development collected as a sapling, about 3 years old. Taken this summer.

It's getting to that time of year when I clean up and take progression photos of the trees. Acer campestre rock planting.

Thats an interesting piece!
I love this time of year, I feel its undervalued by many.

The field maple on the right is a tree in my local park Ive walked past for years, I used some of its characteristics on this hornbeam planting
