Mine is protesting being moved indoors for winter by dropping all it's foliage. It's good to know I can safely make use of this like I've been tempted to.
Weirdly enough my BRT did not do a leafdrop protest when moving inside this year, however I cannot claim the same for his brazilian ironwood brother.Mine is protesting being moved indoors for winter by dropping all it's foliage. This is my first time having something like this happen. It was shipped to me in the mail in the middle of summer, and had to recover from that right before being moved. That's my theory on why it's reacting this way.Weirdly enough my BRT did not do a leafdrop protest when moving inside this year, however I cannot claim the same for his brazilian ironwood brother.
Piteco and Pau-ferro they are called here.Weirdly enough my BRT did not do a leafdrop protest when moving inside this year, however I cannot claim the same for his brazilian ironwood brother.
@Clicio i need some good Brazilian names for this pair, the have personality.
Looking good! I'm a little jealous I don't have a giant bee & light reflecting CD's on my trees.Mine came in today, much earlier than last year. Ficus, Dwarf Jade, Brazilian Leopard Tree, and a Harlandi Boxwood. There's one more Leopard Tree that didn't fit in the rack, but I'll probably swap it with some of the jades at the bottom. All of them are still young, I don't really have anything very developed in my collection yet.
There's also some euonymus americanus cuttings up top, but I'm just propogating those to plant in my yard next year.

Let the two step flow through you!Going to be 80 this weekend. The azaleas and crapes are coming out for the next week.
Screwed that one up last night. Woke up and my first thought was, "did I ever bring the plants in?" 4 peppers and 3 ginger and turmeric left out in 40F chills.Let the two step flow through you!
That's the problem with the two step which incidentally is not two steps but dozens. I've been there. Your plants will be fine but don't expect much from pepper plants this late in the season.Screwed that one up last night. No frosts so far, and they all look none the worse for wear. Might have lost blossoms on my cayenne and black Hungarian wax peppers. That's the problem with the two step which incidentally is not two steps but dozens. I've been there. Only those in the garage because it's just a few steps. The inside ones are just going to have to be jealous. They are staying where they are.Let the two step flow through you!
I bet they'll be fine, my tropical's saw some 40's before they came in.Screwed that one up last night. Woke up and my first thought was, "did I ever bring the plants in?" 4 peppers and 3 ginger and turmeric left out in 40F chills.

Or perhaps 3 steps.Oh, won't you
Gimme two steps, gimme two steps, mister
every time someone says two step on this site that song plays in my head. Yeah, I'm a weirdo.Or perhaps 3 steps.
Maybe, but I really should learn how to two-step.every time someone says two step on this site that song plays in my head. Yeah, I'm a weirdo.
They don't have to know. You don't want to encourage any contention.Only those in the garage because it's just a few steps. The inside ones are just going to have to be jealous. They are staying where they are.
jeez ....... thanks for that.I was cutting a rug
Down at place called The Jug
With a girl named Linda Lou
When in walked a man
With a gun in his hand
And he was looking for you know who
He said, "Hey there, fellow
With the hair colored yellow
Whatcha tryin' to prove?
'Cause that's my woman there
And I'm a man who cares
And this might be all for you"
I said, "excuse me?"
I was scared and fearing for my life
I was shaking like a leaf on a tree
'Cause he was lean, mean
Big and bad, Lord
Pointin' that gun at me
"Oh, wait a minute, mister
I didn't even kiss her
Don't want no trouble with you
And I know you don't owe me
But I wish you'd let me
Ask one favor from you"
"Oh, won't you
Gimme two steps, gimme two steps, mister
Gimme two steps towards the door?
Gimme two steps, gimme two steps, mister
And you'll never see me no more"
For, sure
