Between a "raga" and gypsy music : the notes slowly entering the melody, then the wild rhythm that makes you move your feet and "las palmas" like the way they do in Andalucia, or Argentina, or anywhere where the music's good :

 
... London swings again. Just discovered Joy Crookes.

I saw her yesterday night on TV, a live show where she was singing a bluesy song. Much more "body" than Sade, I mean the voice, but it's really nice to see this part of "Britishness" in music, she's a really good singer.:cool:

"Sweet France". Now it could be "Sweet Ukraine", a song, a tune that is an epitomy of who we are now :

 
I found this version of "Douce France". the singer has a very good french acdent..


I used to play the original version which is a tad more swing from the 40s :

BTW, my kids loved that song, and they bought the CD.

"Eat me", sings the psylo... Not a masterpiece, but quite fun 😄
