Talk is cheap, show me what you really know

My kingsville.
(Wiring was done by my buddy Jay as has been mentioned in a thread on this tree.)
Purchased as nursery stock in 2007 from MBP Bonsai but had never been worked.
Inital work was getting it into Bonsai soil and where the first pics were taken.

Been there, done that, see the links above. I see no reason to duplicate what has already been posted.

Don't you have a few checks to write or something?

Will

Your gonna have to explain the checks thing.

Here is a robusta juniper, three years from rough stock. I can't wait to style it again this spring.

Hoowah, one more time, spirea, from first potting to next pic in just two years. I love plants that grow like weeds. Anyone else have any bonsai, for God's sake ? Can I just see a picture of another before and after bonsai ? Please ?

Nice works Dave, esp the juniper! I hope mine progress this well over only a few years.

Thanks Dave.

Florida elms are real easy to work with. I should have had more progress than this in three years.

Your trees now.... The juniper shows real progress for just 3 years. Very tree like.

The second spirea does something for me also. I generally don't care for exposed root trees, but this one works.
Btw, please tell me that isn't a rats tail sticking out from under the block in the before picture.

Irene,
Your boxwood is coming along nicely! It's well on it's way to being a very nice live oak style tree. I hope to see it again in another couple of years.

Jesus, I almost jumped out of my chair ! I thought it was a rat's tail for a minute as well. It is just a piece of copper wire. Whew ! Of course, if it was a tail, the rest of it is where it should be, under the cement block.

Hi Irene -

That is an awfully big Kingsville. Is it the Saunders Dwarf variety ? How big is the trunk on this one ? What growing regimen is it on, water, food, light ?

TY...I am happy with it's progress.

LOL I never measured the trunk!
It gets normal food, water when needed and plenty of shaded light.
And yup it is a Kingsville.

Jason your Rocky Mt Juniper looks like a floating ghost!!!
Awesome!!!
