Canada has very restricted gun laws . But even here a air gun that is under 500 feet per second . Is not considered a fire arm and very easy to acquire. . And use. This is all you need . My daughter was in air cadets . It’s a youth program ran by the military . Her 495 ft/sec target shooting daisy ( detuned from 525 very common in the USA ) is all you will ever need . Granted the high quality barrel in the target shooting gun . Makes it very accurate . Something almost as good is very reasonable priced in a good hardware store .

Daughters gun is a little better looking than that . She wanted to paint it black . So I made a deal with her ( I’m a ford technician work for a dealer ) deal was if she beat her shooting instructor in a 10 shot contest . I would get it painted at work . Gun is Lincoln tuxedo black triple coat with clear

Unless your name is Daisy, I'm not sure why you're asking for a pardon.

That's setting aside the fact that some girls do in fact prefer the pink (and have no trouble bagging deer and other large game with pink guns).

That’s a toy . Not exactly the same thing . What we have is a daisy 853 c. It’s a high quality gun made for target shooting . Very accurately . Used heavily in youth shooting competitions . The c is a Canadian only version made for the cadet program . The velocity is detuned from 525 ft s to 495 other than that it’s the same gun . It’s worth a little more than 500 $ Canadian if I remember correctly . It competes very well with guns that cost more than 1000 $ . The main cost or quality is the high end barrel ,

Weird. In Louisiana, while there is a season for alligators, we are allowed to shoot and kill the gators whenever they pose imminent harms to ourselves, our children, our pets etc. Killing the gators off season is called nuisance hunting.
I think squirrels pose imminent to our property. Choot dem!
