Single Flush Pine Development Guide Resources

I'm looking for a good development guide for single flush pines (scotts pine in my case), primarily early development. Everything I see is always discussing later refinement.

Jonas has great info on his site but I still have a hard time following it in a progressive manner. I have Bonsai Today's: Pines, but it's lacking in the development phase.

Any recommendations?

Early development for single flush pines is the same for double flush pines and there is a ton of info on that. Hope that helps
