Not sure I can identify a dead mushroomI am curious as to what these mushrooms are. I found them growing in one of my nursery containers inside my grow tent. The plant was repotted before placing inside of my grow tent for the winter.

No worries. I figured seeing the gills and basic structure would get it close.Not sure I can identify a dead mushroom
I had that happenning to some of my house plants before when the soil I used had a high bark content. Mine were buttery yellow when fresh and very similar in strucrure and appearence to yours. They looked like ones below.
Have no idea what they are. I think they eat dead wood - bark in soils.

I watched a few Paul Stamets videos and was taking lions mane until I found out about the effects on DHT. This for me was a deal breakerI hunt these tasty morsels on a buddy’s property…gotta love the lions mane (Hericium Erinaceus)…slice em thin and simmer them in a little bit of butter and you have an awesome meal that’s not only delicious but it’s fantastic for your brain too!

i wish i knew enough to identify what i could eat! I watched the documentary the other day and it is quite right, in the UK we have a deep fear of mushrooms
