Shimpaku Video first effort

I might sound like an idiot taking an SAT test.

Hey we appreciate anything you can share. Not everyone are great orators. Now you have me thinking about doing some vids. It can really help people see everything that is going on with a tree.

I am finding that unless you have help from someone, preferably that knows what you are doing, it is very difficult to do this by yourself. However; please feel free to add your contributions. This will help the art to and will grow.

Thanks for sharing Vance. It really shows how different a tree is in real (or video) compared to a pic. The tree sure is much nicer than the pics. :)

Tri-pod

Thank you for sharing. I agree with the rest that the video adds so much, and I hope quick 360 videos of trees become the norm for sharing.

May I make a suggestion to use a tri-pod or table top to set the camera on? It would further increase the quality of your video and most likely make it easier for you to spin the tree while filming.

thanks again

Yes I noticed that too. I do have a tripod that can handle the task. I am still trying to figure out the camera so I have a lot of things on the table to accomplish. But thanks for the recomendations and the opinion which I happen to agree with. You can see a lot more about a tree if you can see it 360* with decent lightening.

Thanks Neli, I know how busy and distracted you are. Taking the time to consider my tree is appreciated more than you can know.
You know that you have a special place in my heart, and if I can help I will do my best.

Lovely tree! What a great way to show your trees.

If memory serves me right you're a member of a very active club? Why not ask if club members want to be part of 'Project Mugo' - there's bound to be a 'techie' that knows how to tweak youtube, a cameraman who you can brief and use to document techniques, a voiceover guy if you're not happy narrating and a special effects person to sort out titling and music. Another source of expertise is, of course, here ... it's clear many people have benefited from your advice and would donate their time if they have it.

That's a lot to think about, maybe I will be able to start exploring some of this after this weekend and the College graduation of my first Grandchild. We are very proud of the young lady. Some of you have been around long enough to remember shots of a little girl watering my trees. That was her and boy am I starting to feel old.

Bump: I'm trying to see two things here about the site. One: Do new posts automatically go to the top? And Two: Do they descend numerically according to the number of new posts or updated posts after it?

I am getting the feeling that after two or three pages the post gets buried rapidly some faster than others.
