Serpentine Procumbens

Some people hate procumbens but I love them! I have styled dozens of procumbens nana, but this. Is my first time with greenmound. I am liking them so far. This Shohin I styled last night, and I am working on this bigger one today. Pretty big move with the guy wire. Trying to dust off the cobwebs in the off-season 😂.
Would like to see an update on this one at some point if you still have it. Was headed In A cool direction. Oops I forgot that quoting you wouldn’t include the photo. It was the shohin guy with the Jin top, post #11

I sold the smaller shohin size tree, but the bigger more “serpentine” tree is one that can live in my yard for awhile. I am growing more fond of this tree, because I went full gear to make this tree more interesting. I hope you guys are enjoying this tree as much as I am. It’s a real eye catcher in the garden, a few visitors are immediately drawn to it.

Before someone says it, yes I already know repotting, cutback, shari, wiring and major styling work all at once is not best practice...but when you are working inexpensive vigorous nursery stock, it’s worth the small monetary risk to save yourself a few years of waiting. A $ nursery nana gets treated very different than a $$$ 80 year old RMJ in my yard!
