I got some not-so-strong ERC I'm forcing onto another volcanic rock(s) this summer!

I have very little experience with good strong trees!

This one was!

But is most important to note...
Our Localest NON ERC or common juniper is Horizontalis.
So it's happy here!

I put a guy wire very particularly on a DW crotch and my sacrifice so I can forget it with no worry.


Trimmed the tips of the 3 keeper branches...
Might only keep 2.





I was looking at these at Wal-Mart the other day and did a serious double take that it wasn't Shimpaku....

I love love love these! I already got 4 more this year!

This one had a Lotta tip browning going on.
Gross right?
So I was worried about it the most.

But you know...tiny roots tiny roots...push em out push em out.....



Success...of course...the ONLY way this is a useful sign is by keeping weeds out of the pots at all times.

All the Browning was on the sac..and all my active..activer...growth is on keeper parts.

I don't think I put more than a couple tablespoons of DE in there. Just the old cutback root mass..
