Seedling Cutting true fir

Has anyone tried the seedling cutting technique with true firs?

I have some pacific silver fir (Abies amabilis) and noble fir (Abies procera) seedlings that are just about to shed their seed coats..

Have never done it but based on experience and anecdotes from others with other hard to strike species I'd try some. Please let us know the results.

Thanks. I’ll likely tweek things a little for different “batches” to see what works best.
