Bad as in not good.In my experience people who say they're bad truly aren't bad
A hint: Hackberry and Elm, but which is which?
That describes me to a tee!But bad and an ass?
Uh, WHY, that is VERY collectible...I'd also bet it has a killer nebari with fused trunks. Excellent potential and would work up well...I've dug bigger CE than that with a handsaw and a hand trowel...Wish this were smaller.

Yes. I've thought about coming back for it. I'm a small lanky person, and have been feeling a little worn out lately. It just didn't look like something I wanted to get that day with just a couple of hours, and then carry about a couple of football fields to my lil' Honda. I get intimidated the first time usually, but I'll be back for it. Fortunately there's not a whole lot of brush that I have to crawl through to get to it nor any thorny vines. Each time I go out, I try to bring home something I feel I have the energy and time to collect. I'll wait for a day when I start earlier for this one.Uh, WHY, that is VERY collectible...I'd also bet it has a killer nebari with fused trunks. You're right about the one you're sure with 100% certainty.I would guess the front/bottom one is hackberry, the rest are elms. I'm only 100% sure on the fourth one up with deep corky bark, that's definitely an elm. I want to get a couple hackberry trees but always avoided them because off the little "warts" on the leaves in the wild.
