Thanks! No it did not, the whole tree was treated with a solution of lime sulphur over the winter.

@MACH5 - I just found this thread... amazing tree, have you still got it? regarding the lime sulphur, what strength solution did you use and did you paint it on? do you do this every winter?

Thank you! This tree was sold about two years ago.

I usually use a 1:1 ratio of LS to water. Sometimes a bit heavier on LS. I usually spray it on making sure to cover the soil and pot with Saran Wrap or similar. I come back later and do the very bottom of the trunk and surface roots with a fine brush. I usually do this every winter.
