Rainbows and unicorns anyone?

Definitely something that really shines in the spring or even winter. I imagine something with colors like yellow, pink, or purple? Forsythia, peony, chrysanthemum, pink Japanese flowering quince, or pink ume. If not floral perhaps spring foliar colors like any of the corallinum Japanese maples? Possibly some playful movement.

Mochi is traditionaly eaten on the first of januari in a soup called ozoni
