Picked up these two (Gold Coast 🤔) Junipers from my local nurseries "trash pile". Should make for some interesting spring projects.

I'm pretty happy with these two trash heap finds. From first looks I'm thinking about semi-cascade with heavy deadwood on the smaller one.
The second taller tree has good bones for literati.
If the foliage doesn't thicken up much more I may consider doing Shimpaku grafts.

Either way they need a good deep watering and some fertilizer. They've been through the ringer and need some TLC before I even touch them.

May just get them out of their pots next year because they seem pretty root bound and just leave them alone.

Maybe some deadwood work at most.
