photo upload issue

Test of a direct image link - to an image hosted elsewhere.

Ok test to your heart's content and let me know if there are problems. I was able to do all of the above examples quickly without encountering any glitches.

Additionally, I have enabled the direct upload functionality in the "insert image" icon when you are composing a new post. So you should now be able to use the "attachment" interface or the "insert image" interface...

Testing upload...seems to be working.

That's odder.

The screen is now blue and white, and showing me all my uploaded files,

I see....nice.

Testing from an iPad and cannot figure out how to add photos saved to the hard drive. It lets me select them but there is no way to complete it, upload the photos... No submit button or anything like that.

Once you select them, there is text underneath that says "Upload File(s)". Click on the text. Yes, it should more look like a button because it is easy to overlook.

Here is last fall right after Thanks Giving. What difference

Thank you Admin for all the effort you put into this.

I have no pics to share.... Yet!

Actually I think it's better now than it has been since you changed it last year. At that point we lost the ability to go back and review the photos that we had already posted, we have that function back plus the menu thing. Thanks for the hard work.

Sometimes working with 3rd party software can be frustrating. On occasion, I simply can't get the software to do what it is supposed to be able to do. Photo uploads have always been a little quirky. I had to turn off some of the features last year because they wouldn't work and I couldn't fix them. Now they work fine. Who knows - maybe they were patched in one of the software updates. Sometimes I fix a problem in one part of the site and it has unintended positive outcomes elsewhere :) Regardless, things seem to be working much better now.

Server settings are also involved. We know, of course, that there have never been any problems with the servers.

I have a question about the size of photographs to upload. Is there an option to resize during the upload to B'Nut process? Or do I need to resize before I upload.?

Is there a suggested or preferred size?

Is there a guide to uploading photos to B'Nut? I used the search function for titles with "photo" and "upload" and only saw this thread. Perhaps a FAQ "sticky thread"?

Thanks BonsaiNut for all your hard work.

Thanks.

pK7YlWM.jpg I have found that there are two basic methods to down load photos. The first was from an outside source like IMGUR which will load fairly large images, the second is off of my desk top which will download either a full image or a thumnail. There used to be limits as to the size of the image you could download but those parameters seem to have disappeared. I also added the thumbnail version which decided to put itself first on this post.
