Outlet capacity

Perhaps this is a silly question, but how do I figure out how many grow light I can safely place on a single outlet without blowing the fuse?

Add up the max current draw of all the lights (amperage).

Make sure that's less than the outlet/circuit.

Looks like my HLG 100 V2 lights are 200 watts; 120 volts; so:

200/120 = 1.67 amps.

So with 4 of them I'm only pulling 6.68 amps. Outlets are normally 15 or 20 amps.

All of my outlet circuits are on 20 amp breakers; lighting and smoke detectors are on 15 amp breakers - but I've redone most of the wiring in my house as I renovate.
